You have seen the announcements in the Casper Star-Tribune and it’s finally here! The “We Read” program kicks off Thursday, April 7, at Verda James. All kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students will come home with a free book in support of our school district’s goal of fostering literate students. Recognizing the crucial role that parents and caregivers play in creating literate students, the sponsors of this program will furnish a book each month to K-3rd students along with enrichment activities in the Casper Star-Tribune. Each K-3rd family will receive a copy of that day’s newspaper at their home address. We hope you will enjoy sharing these books and activities!
